Why is it important?
Google’s Search Algorithms are a list of rules that score web pages. These are referred to as ranking factors.
If you do not add search engine optimisation ranking factors to your web pages, your score will be low, and the website will receive no organic (non-advertising) traffic.
- You could find your website by searching Google for your business name and perhaps for the odd low competition service/products + location keyword.
- However, even for these keywords, your website could easily be surpassed by a competitor who would appear above you and steal business away.
What are these magical factors? There are over 200.
They are ever-changing and often discussed. The only people who truly know which of the 200 really matter work at Google.
